Malls
Discover my favorite malls to get everything you need.
EmQuartier
BTS Station: Phrom Pong
One of my favorite malls, due to its location and diverse range of shops and boutiques, catering to different interests and budgets. Alongside luxury brands, you'll find a mix of mid-range and local retailers, as well as specialty stores selling unique products. Also has some great restaurants, food court and bars.
Central World & Siam Paragon
BTS Station: Chitlom / Siam
Central World is the biggest mall in Thailand so its guaranteed that you will find everything you need here. Great place to stick with if you don't feel like checking different malls and usually my go to mall if I am in the area. Siam Paragon is also easily accesible by foot via the sky bridge but mostly hosts luxury/high end goods and brands.
Icon Siam
BTS Station: Charoen Nakhon
Located across the river, another fancy mall with mostly luxury brands and goods. Has great restaurants and bars overlooking the river and also has a large Apple Store. Also a place where many river cruises leave from. The basement has one of my favorite food courts, due to its unique design. Worth checking it out at least once.
Markets
Discover and shop from local markets.
Chatuchak Market
Weekend Market
Probably the best place to find cheap and affordable items and souvenirs. Highly recommended to check out at least once and one of my personal favorite ones. Popular among both tourists and expats. The weather can get hot during the day so highly recommended to take some water and ensure to stay hydrated.
Srinagarindra Train Night Market
Night Market
Located near Rama IX park, it is further away from the centre. Arguably one of the most authentic local markets in the city and most popular among Thais. Great place to have some local food and drinks with friends, potentially after a visit to Rama IX park or Nong Bon Water Sports Center. Also a great place to bring any friends and family that visit.
Jodd Fairs Night Market
Night Market
A night market that opened in November 2021, after the closure of Ratchada Train Market. Closer to the city center compared to Srinagarindra and known mostly for its food stalls and social atmosphere. A great place to grab some food and drinks. Recommended to stopby after a skate day at the Sky Park in Fortune Town.
